Well mike and I had a long weekend... we went down to Shiner in south Texas to visit some of my family, and we both ended up working all weekend which was fine because it needed to be done! Mike helped my uncle out at my grandpa's farm with some of the cattle and doing odd end things that needed to be done a while ago! and my aunt and I cleaned my grandpas entire house (plus threw alot of things away) it really hasn't been cleaned since my grandma died but its not any ones fault - my grandpa is going blind and cant see much!!
on the way back home we went to Canyon Lake and saw my aunt that is battling breast cancer right now- she is such a strong woman its unbelievable!! she looks good for what is going through but still not herself!
I am off work today and tomorrow and then back to the vet office which I love!! i couldn't ask for a better job! Mike is working pretty hard at his new job, he has had to be gone a few nights but when that pay check comes in we don't complain to much!
I will admit i have the baby bug, but I'm trying to keep that from Mike because i know that we have a plan and he really doesn't want to devise from that! which is fine because we do have a few things to get together before we start trying to go down that road!
I have to do a few errands and i will come back and right some more!

Sorry
So yes I know i haven't posted anything is a while but I have had tons of things to do and going on...
updates- Mike started his new job last week Monday and so far loves it. I finally got a new job and out of banking which is FABULOUS!!! I will be working at an animal clinic down the street from where I work right now, and got a small raise!!
I will start there August 12th and have the morning hours to work which I HATE getting up early but I do love to get off early too!!
Yes I know ironic for someone who was so deathly afraid of animals as a child working at a vet clinic but since we moved up the Fort Worth 11 years ago I have had to get over my fear of dogs and other animals and I am now loving every dog I see... strange ... YES!!
we are in the process of saving money for the house out in Paradise which i hope with come together in the next couple of months!!
There is a ton of other things going on right now but I really don't want to discuss them on here!!
If yall could please just keep my family in your thoughts and prayers I would really appreciate it!!

Horrible weekend
Needless to say i had a pretty bad weekend that eventually turned to good but I am still pissed about it all!
full story:
i leave work on Friday with the rent car and go home and pack everything up in it and we drive over to my parents to grab the kooler and a few other things and as we are pulling out of the drive way mike yells "whoa stop the car" and he looks on the drive way and there is about a 2ft by 1ft oil spot on the drive way... we move it on the street. we call the HERTZ roadside assistance and they tell us that since its after 6 and all other locations except the airport are closed we will have to drive it there or to a pepboys where they can see whats wrong with it! I DON'T THINK SO!! I'm not sitting at a pepboys for 5 hours and there is no way we could have made it to the airport with NO oil in the car (mike pulled the dipstick out and oil wasn't even registering on it) we would have blown the motor a few miles down the road and my house is like at least 45 min away from the airport! so we tell the lady (who was nice at the time) that this problem has already put us 2 hours behind schedule and that they need to bring us a replacement car since this is their fault (the oil had been leaking all day there is a HUGE oil spot at work too and i went straight from the rent place to work so i KNOW i couldn't have done it) and she tells me that it will be about 2 hours until the replacement will get there ... fine whatever whats another 2 hours when we are already 2 behind this would have been putting us on the road at 11 fine we would do that it would be hard but we could do it.... well at 11 we call them back and they tell us that the replacement car is on the tow truck about 20 min away which was the ETA well not even 10 min later we get a phone call from the towing company told us HERTZ at the airport wont release the new rent car to his driver (so we had been lied to already and that's when shit hit the fan) the towing company didn't have the car, they weren't on their way and it would be at least ANOTHER 2 hours till we get the car... well finally after much yelling and screaming by me, mike, and my mom at the hertz lady the replacement car gets there at 2:30 in the morning... there is NO WAY we were gonna leave then to drive 14 hours we couldn't do it physically so we called off Arizona i continued to cry (not only cuz i was mad as hell but i wanted to see my sisters and nephew so bad and to comfort my sister who MC 2 days before ) needless to say my mom is at the car place right now fighting the manger on us not paying a dime cuz it was out of control - we were lied to all night we had to stay up and wait until 2:30 the morning and if we could/would have left it would have put us 7 hours behind....
so we went home and got a few hours sleep my mom pulled a few strings and got a hotel room down on the Texas coast (which took us abut 8 hours to get to & which was packed and all the hotels had "no vacancy" in the windows) and we spent Saturday and Sunday there and left Monday went through the towns where i grew up and saw my grandparents...
it wasn't all that horrible but the start of the weekend was just kinda a buss kill not to mention more expensive that what we planned on... i hope my week goes better than what the weekend was and not to mention the water was beautiful and the weather was perfect but we were on the beach MAYBE an hour and i got burnt and mike is so burnt he has blisters!

One more day
Until we are on our way to Arizona to see my family!
One of my sisters still hasn't met mike so this should be interesting! We got a good rent car with unlimited miles , its a little more than what i wanted to pay but its better than putting miles on my car or Mikes truck!
My photog sent me my CDs with all of the wedding pictures and I love them!

we went out to the property last night to walk the land (which scared me a little cuz there are so many snakes out there I though for sure i was going to see one but i think it was still a little cool for them) but anyways we set the location where we want the house to sit, now i just need to get the measurement so that Mikes brother can set the stakes and frame it so they can pour the concrete.... next weekend Mike is going out there with a Bobcat and leveling it off and bringing in the gravel for the drive way.... it will slowly get done but i think it in the end it will be fabulous...
I think that's all i have for today I am also going to start collecting pictures of little things for the house and how i want them to look ...

One month later
Well, its been exactly one month yesterday since the wedding and married life feels the exact same as it did before the wedding minus the stress which is wonderful!
The stress is about to get worse though - Mikes parents have property out in Paradise and all the kids are going to get the land therefore we will be getting 1/3 of the land which is wonderful! so we have decided that it will be better and worth our money if we slowly start building our home... its going to start off slow and small and not anything big which is perfectly fine we don't need anything huge. We are working on the layout and measurements right now and getting everything like that taken care of, then the big parts come... we have to level the land, then set the pad for the foundation and pour the actual foundation which is going to be a good chunk of money!
this house is going to come up very slow since we will be doing the work our self which is fine with me but as along we get the foundation and walls up and roof then we can move in.
which hopefully that will be done before February next year due to the fact that is when our lease is up at the apartment and as much as i love my new neighbors and being close to my parents it will be nice to be out of there!
with all the plans happening I'm sure we wont take a Honeymoon for a while which is fine by me! i would much rather have a good home for me and husband than a trip that will last 5 days!
This weekend is Memorial day weekend and I'm sooo excited, My sister's and brother in law and nephew all live in Tucson and i haven't seen most of them in over a year and i finally get to see them this weekend! Both of my sister are pregnant which is wonderful and scary at the same time! (and I'm a little jealous I'm not going to lie) but this also means no typical trip for us girls... which normally consist of a lot of booze and clubs and bars lol... but I cant wait! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the drive (13 hours) ... we are leaving Friday night after work and driving the majority of the way and rest for a few and then finish it the rest of way and hopefully get there the next morning... only to turn around and drive back Monday morning and get back here late Monday night and go back to work on Tuesday!
Yes i know seems exhausting but totally worth it to see my family!!
I have a few pro pics from the wedding that my photog gave me - hopefully i will be getting the rest soon!
I love them so far!! and soon hopefully i will be doing a "trash the dress" session with her (but not use my dress)

Wedding Recap!
i have two words for my wedding ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!
Well the whole weekend started off with my anxiety attack on Thursday night and after we got that taken care of things were down hill from there....Friday's weather was HORRID but we got through it all our OOT family came in and we headed to the chapel for rehearsal we got there in perfect timing except for Mikes family (of coarse they had to be 30 min late) i was kinda pissed about that considering most of his family was in the wedding... we ran through it a few times and that's when it became real.... so we got done with Rehearsal early and headed over to the restaurant that was FABULOUS i know it was just a burger place but everyone loved it.... we had a few drinks and a great time. after that we all went back to my parents house for a little after party and so that me and my cousins could finish the programs and the pictures. Then it was time to go to sleep for the big day!
My cousins and i got up to go to the salon and it was still icky outside but nothing to bad! (on Thursday mike dropped his truck off to the dealership to have one thing fixed and they managed to eff everything up so had to put him in a loaner truck and he was going to pick it up Saturday morning) well I'm sitting there getting my hair done and Mike calls me and tells me the dealership locked the keys in his real truck and i have the spare ones so i was going to have to leave but there was no way that was going to happen so they finally got that open in just enough time for him to get his hair cut and something to eat and then off to the church...Me and my girls all got to the chapel at 12:30 (like instructed) and started getting ready and while that was going on the guys were suppose to take there pictures but 2 of his groomsmen didn't get there till 2 (SERIOUSLY FOLLOW EFFING INSTRUCTIONS) but it got to be 2:30 and we had 30 min before we walked down the isle and i was starting to get soooo nervous...
Then it happened everyone had walked down the isle and they opened those two huge white wooden doors for me and there he was the man of my dreams and i just broke down and started crying but i was trying to smile too for the pictures but it just wasn't working and mike was soo nervous i could tell he was getting emotional...i finally got to him and he broke down too which isn't like him! My best friend JR sang all the songs in church and they were fab!! i was fine the rest of the ceremony until i looked at my MOH and she made me start crying again!! so we take pictures after the ceremony and outside it was soooo hot and humid but better than rain! we got a town car to take us to the reception and i peeked in before we really went in and i was speechless- i was soooo much more than what i had imagined it was awesome. it was great to see everything put together!
The rest of the night was a blur and i wish i could have gotten to talk to everyone more but a 6 hour reception just wasn't enough i guess... we danced the night away and had an amazing time!! the entire weekend was totally worth the stress and money if i could do it all over again i wouldn't change ONE THING!! We got to our hotel downtown and we walked in and they got us checked in and the hotel upgraded us to the presidential suite (about 1300 a night) it was at least 4 times bigger than our apartment....and when we were at the front desk another bride and groom walked in and had almost the same dress as me and necklace and even shoes it was weird!!! It was UFC fight night so we went and changed and made it down town to another bar that was showing the fight with some of our friends and it wasn't worth it, it was such a bad fight - crappy!! and then my mom surprised us with a night at Great Wolf Lodge!! wonderful!! to those who are getting married this weekend - its totally true have some alone time with your hubby it will be worth it! Sorry if this was really long and there is really no grammar or punctuation lol

New Year
I hope everyone had a fabulous start to the new year! I must say when we switched over to the new year i had a mild anxiety attack! To think I will be married in 3 months 2 weeks and 2 days kind of freaked me out.... then i looked at my to do list and freak out even more! i know that some of them are not able to be finished until weeks before the wedding but the sight of my list scares me!! here is what I have to do so far!
